Where We Are Now

Analysis

We are making steady progress toward the 95% goal by 2022. We have expanded our capacity to respond to calls on Fridays when administrative offices are closed. The County's crisis clinic is open on Fridays, so the customer service staff at the clinic are now answering the main customer service line to assist callers.

Why This Is Important

One in four people will experience mental health challenges in their lifetime. For those facing a challenge, access to behavioral health services is vitally important. With the right help, people can and do recover. 

How Much Does the County Influence This?

Significantly. The County operates behavioral health clinics and an urgent walk-in and call center. County employees also connect Medicaid members and the uninsured with counseling services and providers.
